REVIEWS
For the bumpy ride that Aaltra offers, there are simply no seatbelts to fasten... Uproariously funny from beginning to end. - Anton Bitel (Eye for Film)
A comic treat for those in a deadpan state of mind, this oddball road movie (...) delivers plenty of hilarious cynicism and quirky charm. - Saxon Bullock (Film4.com)

Two feuding neighbors both get their legs crushed by a farm tractor and set out on a wheelchair journey through Europe to demand compensation from the tractor’s manufacturer, based in Finland.
Shot in grainy black & white, Aaltra is the first absurdist, politically-incorrect, and darkly funny film by incredible Belgian duo Kervern and Delépine, who brought us LOUISE MICHEL (SFFF 2010) and this year's LE GRAND SOIR. Here, they also star as the two angry protagonists.
One of the funniest dark comedies in the history of cinema.
Don't miss the cameos from famed Finnish director Aki Kausimäki and actor Benoît Poe!voorde (starring in LE GRAND SOIR).
Shown with L’Héritage (The Legacy) by Michaël Terraz.
