Box Office will open at 6:15pm on event day! We expect seating to occur around 6:45pm.

The screening will last 122 minutes.
There will be no intermission.

The films are not rated. They are all appropriate for high school ages.

After the screening, the audience was invited to vote for the “Sacramento César" Award.

Meanwhile, in Paris, the French Académie des César, crowned Pile Poil (By A Hair) by Lauriane Escaffre & Yvonnick Muller -second on our poll last night and winner of the Audience Prize for Short Film at the 2019 SFFF.

NEFTA FOOTBALL CLUB by Yves Piat - 2018 - les Valseurs - 17 minutes
Abdallah and his younger brother Mohammed find a lost donkey with headphones on his ears and bags full of white powder on his back. The two brothers bring the bags back to their village.
In addition to its César nomination, Nefta Football Club was also nominated for a 2020 Oscar in the live action short film category!

LE CHANT D'AHMED (Ahmed's Song) by Foued Mansour - 2018 - Offshore - 30 minutes.
Ahmed is an immigrant nearing retirement. He came to work in France from Algeria years ago. He sends money to his wife and children every month, but hasn't seen them in many years. He works at the public baths and lives a solitary life. One day at work, he is teamed up with Mike, an adrift teenager. An unexpected complicity will develop between these two lost souls to brighten Ahmed's lonely days.

BEAUTIFUL LOSER by Maxime Roy- 2018 - TS Productions - 25 minutes
Michel (François Créton in a remarkable performance), a 50-year old former junkie weaning himself off drugs, just separated from his girlfriend (Romane Bohringer, one of our 2019 SFFF guests) with whom he just had a child. Michel already has a strong relationship with his seventeen-year-old son, Léo, and he is not sure he can handle a baby at this difficult point in his life.

Émile is afraid of the world. He no longer goes outside and paints everything around him blue, including his dog! Can a chance encounter between his son Yoan (Rod Paradot, Standing Tall - SFFF 2016 & Luna - SFFF 2018) and Soraya, a teenage adept at Tamil dancing, help Émile find the right color?

In three days, Élodie will take the hair removal exam for her beautician diploma. She desperately needs a model. Her widowed father, Francis (Gregory Gadebois), is a butcher, and he would prefer it if she continued to help at the family shop.
