  Nicolas Guiot  

Born in Charleroi, Belgium, in 1978, NICOLAS GUIOT studied philosophy at the University of Liège and script writing and analysis through the ELICIT program at the Univeristé Libre de Bruxelles. He has worked as both a location and production manager, taught film history, and was a contributing film critic for the magazine “Grand Angle”.
In 2006, he founded Ultime Razzia Productions, a company through which he has produced several short films, including LE CRI DU HOMARD, his directorial debut. The film has received numerous awards, including the Magritte (Belgium Oscar) and César Awards for Best Short Film 2013. We are happy to present Guiot's award winning short LE CRI DU HOMARD on Saturday, June 29 at 10:30am.

  Chuck Zigman  

CHARLES ZIGMAN, who lives in Los Angeles, is the author of WORLD'S COOLEST MOVIE STAR, the two-volume biography and filmography of French movie legend Jean Gabin (www.jeangabinbook.com), which was one of critic Leonard Maltin's picks for Best Film Book of 2009. Zigman's follow up, a new children's book, will be released on July 4, 2013. He has taught film and television classes at Augusta State University, Georgia, and at the New York Film Academy. Zigman will conduct the post screening discussion after LES MISERABLES, starring the world's coolest movie star, Jean Gabin!
