SUPPORTING THE SACRAMENTO FRENCH FILM FESTIVAL

YOU make the Festival happen!

In 2011 the Sacramento French Film Festival celebrated its 10th year and we are thrilled to start our second decade in 2012. Earlier this year the Festival was recognized by the Sacramento Bee as one of the top events to look forward to in 2012! Preparations for the 11th SFFF are already underway. We are working on film selection, marketing, volunteer needs and, of course, fundraising. The SFFF is organized by the Sacramento French Cultural Society, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, and we depend on the generous donation of our sponsors and friends to keep the Festival going every year. Ticket sales cover only about 40% of our operating costs and the remainder must be raised through our loyal supporters.

Since 2002, the Sacramento French Film Festival has brought the best of contemporary and classic French cinema to Sacramento, reaching thousands of people each year. The SFFF is now a beloved cultural landmark and is proud to be a part of Sacramento’s vibrant and innovative arts community. Over the years, we have expanded and diversified our annual program offerings to offer a Winter Short Film Screening and a “Serge at the Verge” musical celebration of French cult artist Serge Gainsbourg. Both events are organized in partnership with the Verge Center for the Arts.

We offer wonderful opportunities to support the Sacramento French Film Festival. Whether you are a business or an individual (Ami du Festival); whether you are interested in making a cash or in-kind contribution, there is an option that is right for you! We hope that you will be interested in joining the businesses and individuals who care about the success of the Festival and help us make each edition better than the last!

CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP

Sponsoring the SFFF is an opportunity for you to be associated with a distinctive, first-class and outstanding event; increase your visibility among our educated and affluent audience from the Sacramento Valley, the Sierra foothills, the Bay Area, Southern California and out of state; and give your employees or clients the chance to attend our acclaimed programs. Our Winter Short Film Screening and “Serge at the Verge” event have broadened our audience base and provide additional exposure to our patrons. And, of course, contributions to the Sacramento French Film Festival are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

Your generous sponsorship makes it possible for us to make payments for such expenses as theater rental, film rental, transportation fees, marketing, postage, printing and a whole list of other items that are necessary to organize a film festival. We have established the following five sponsoring levels with the aim to offer you the best benefits packages.  Merci for your interest and support!

We also offer in-kind sponsorship and media partnership opportunities. Contact us for more information and to learn about other special sponsoring opportunities.
